Hot Tub Shipping Checklist for US Homeowners

Shipping an acrylic hot tub is not the same as sending a parcel. A useful pre-shipment checklist connects the written product configuration with freight, residential access, unloading and inspection at arrival.

Confirm the written order

Before production or shipment, confirm the model, dimensions, shell and cabinet colors, electrical configuration, included equipment, selected options, warranty terms and documented payment recipient. The quotation and invoice should identify Sauna Health Technology Co., Ltd. as the CedarTide operating, payment-receiving and invoicing company.

Do not send payment to an unexplained personal account or a different company name. Ask for clarification before funds move if any document is inconsistent.

Define the freight scope

The word delivery can mean arrival at a terminal, curbside service, driveway placement or another agreed scope. Ask the quotation to state the destination, receiving conditions, unloading responsibility and services that are excluded.

  • Destination ZIP code and contact details
  • Commercial dock, residential address or alternate receiving point
  • Appointment and unloading expectations
  • Who arranges final backyard placement
  • How special access or lifting is quoted

Prepare access before arrival

Measure the route and complete the approved base before the scheduled delivery. If a crane, forklift, removable fence section or local crew is needed, coordinate it separately and do not assume the freight driver will provide final placement.

Keep the route clear and make sure the receiving party knows the package dimensions and agreed handling plan.

Inspect and document receipt

At arrival, inspect the packaging before final acceptance when the carrier process allows. Photograph all sides of the packaged spa, labels and any visible damage. Note exceptions on the delivery paperwork and contact CedarTide promptly with the order reference and evidence.

After unpacking, follow the agreed installation and commissioning steps. Use qualified local professionals for structural and electrical work, and retain the quotation, invoice, inspection photos and model information for support.

Planning note

Product specifications and project requirements should be reconfirmed in the written quotation. Use qualified local professionals for structural, electrical, permitting and installation decisions.
